Livingstone reminded me of similar supernatural manga (including Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, with which it shares some themes) but it didn't bring anything new to the table. It wasn't derivative, exactly, but it did strike me as familiar. The characters were good and I enjoyed their rapport.
That last story was disturbing in a bad way and its conclusion was way over the top and seemed out of sync with what the manga had established. I didn't like it. spoiler[I would have accepted it more if the woman's soul would have lost all its memories upon being placed in the man's body, becoming the man's new soul but integrating his mind]. |
