For awhile there I though it be AFA's first event in the Philippines (since it had our flag along with the rest of other SEA nations..)
then I read the whole article...

^Sucks, right? Big Japanese/geeky events could be held here now and people are willing to spend on it, if you're to take the OOR concert and APCC as examples.
On Twitter yesterday the AFA channel promised a big announcement at 8 pm, hyping me up...
Wonder why there's no AFA MY.

it kinda is. Guess we're not as good as Indonesia then..then again it has Kinokuniya..if ever we'll be getting an animate branch next year along with that hallohallo mall being built on the same year. (took them way too long to consider the country..then again, we're no Indonesia)
I heard from a colleague that AFA in Malaysia didn't turned out well in terms of getting back their investment. Thus why they didn't have one for Malaysia this year as well (despite having a Kinokuniya like Indonesia does) and why they won't risk it with a country that still has a sad reputation of having folks complaining about ticket prices and at times unruly patrons..does this mean other SEA doesn't have those too?
Since I'm here I might as well know from other members
