This was good article. One question that came to me while reading this - particularly after reading about how hectic and stressful the job can be for the employees - isn't there some general/ annual or random inspection of the studios and their work conditions?
It sucks that companies can get away with overworking their employees practically to death. |

Thanks so much Kevin. I am always fascinated by this entire process. And having you basically translate the common kanji in credits has been immeasurably helpful. Now I can largely figure out what I'm looking at even as a non-speaker. Of course having as much in Katakana as possible helps, but I'm slowing memorizing some of the kanji.
