The Diebuster movie was a better compilation film than the Gunbuster one.

Cripes, Tsukikage Ran. I have that on an old DVD. Never thought I'd see it again.

TubiTV is a mixed bag with anime...
On the one hand, there's SOME good stuff there.
On the other hand, there's hardly anything there that wasn't released at least ten years ago! Some of it's held up, a lot of it is mediocre at best.
To not complain so much, at least it's free -- for the time being.
For so many of the other legal services, you are going to pay a fee for premium or to get "early access" to anime.
As far as Gunbuster goes -- WHY hasn't anybody licensed the original OVA series yet for BD? It's well overdue for that. We get the movie version which like 97% of the compilation movies out there is inferior to the original release?
I don't get it...
