It almost makes me want to play again but I imagine he's just featured as a one-off boss of a dungeon that I likely cant access until I clear multiple story dungeons that are no longer populated.

FFXIV starts off slow, and plenty of fetch quests at the start of every patch..., BUT if can hold thru (and leveling is way faster than before), than your in for a great treat once you hit the real endgame content..., action and story .. but mostly raiding wise

I'm not sure where you left off in game, but not being able to clear story dungeons because no one's running it isn't really a thing. All story dungeons, all normal versions of the raids, and all trials appear in daily roulettes that most players run to earn tomestones/level/get item drops and to help keep old content playable for new/returning players. You'll be fine if you do want to catch up! Also he's part of an 8-man raid tier that's full of great references to old FF5/6 bosses. |
