Oh, finally someone's asking about her. I've been wondering the same thing, yet no one else seems interested to even address her absence. So I just take it as Akane has been the main protagonist of the 2 season series and the movie, I suppose they just want to focus on more of the side characters for this trilogy 'spin off'. Still I wish she'd at least have some essential role in the last, Kogami-centric, movie. But it doesn't seem to be the case as well

I'm worried too.
After viewing the trailer a few times, the lady she's head-butting is also the one who injects her and seeing as her jacket is on when injected and off in the fight, I'm hoping that's her getting revenge.
