I'd like to be that guy that buys something like this and keeps it safely stored and sealed, but I wonder if a buyer would continue that tradition or open it?

Seriously. What would someone do with this if they bought it?

I regret opening packs nearly 20 years ago. I originally bought packs of Jungle, Fossil, and Base Set 2 for $1 each from Dollar General. Now, said packs are worth more than 10x that. Hell, the wrappers are worth at least $3 by themselves. Shows how nastolgia makes money.
