To be fair, anyone expecting a feature film of a moderately popular LN series to even approach the level of financial success that a movie for one of the modern shounen juggernauts and a Mamoru Hosoda film were going to earn were simply dreaming lol

100 million yen is more than what a series such as this would normally get. Don't expect it to do main stream numbers, as it doesn't panders towards any highly profitable audience even when it is """""""""isekai""""""""".

Really looking forward to this when the disc comes out here, since I loved the series. I love how the color work looks for the movie.
