That's one nice and substantial article on Dororo.
I'll definitely be showing this to some friends who are watching it with me.

I enjoy reading this article and learning more of the era the story of Dororo is set in. I thought it would be nice to be watching this show with more knowledge of Buddhism as a video I watch on youtube that talk about this show touch on how it delves into the subject so that knowledge can further enhance my enjoyment of the show. This is because while the story does stand on it's own without having to have knowledge on the religious and historical context it helps to further appreciate the story and how they went about telling it.
