I swear, Level-5 does not seem to be able to catch a break lately. Yo-kai Watch 4 was a total disaster, the Ni no Kuni movie flopped hard, and I'm sure this new Yo-kai Academy movie as well as the anime will alienate longtime YW fans. Not to mention the numerous delays the new Inazuma Eleven game has been getting.
If they continue on this track, I see bankruptcy (in the vein of the original SNK) or an acquisition by either SoftBank or Nintendo in their future. It would take a miracle (or at least a DLC deal to put Professor Layton or Jibanyan in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate) to save them at this point.
