After all I've heard about this season, I'm actually kinda afraid I'm going to end up not enjoying this like what I did with Season 1. But I'm still going to watch it and hopefully still enjoy it.

I've heard it depends a lot on whether or not you've read the manga. I haven't started it yet and I've been enjoying the season just fine.

Let me give an opinion from a non manga reader who is watching this, at first i was alright with it but the last few eps in particular, have defiantly suffered from pacing and severe bad writing issues that even us non manga readers can tell that is this is becoming a mess of a story.

So up to you lot if u wanna try it or not.

As someone who has read the manga:

Oh boy is this season a mess. I never thought you could mess up this bad but the studio has shown that you can.

It's a good time if you're drunk

I know some people are salty over the changes but I don't cure, I'm definitely glad this is coming back to Toonami.

I agree with this. I'm an anime-only viewer and can tell right after the third episode or so it was really just downhill with blatant omissions that leave plot elements hanging or feel very rushed.

I can only speak as an anime-first fan but s2 has been an utter letdown for me. Without getting into spoiler-specifics, I can say the pacing is severely uneven and much of the writing feels like it's straight-up from a different person compared to s1.

It's only at the bottom because they are reruns not new eps. It'll move up whenever it's time for S2.

Yeah, still going to watch since it's easy to watch on Toonami and I'm looking forward to hearing the dub cast back in their roles, but I'm worried about that, since it seems to be a very shared opinion at this point, after such a good first season.
