Just going off the anime, she feels like the Heroine of the story to me (at least as far as the Heroine role and being as close as the story gets to a female lead, while it's mostly about Takemichi and Toman).

Just going off the anime, she feels like the Heroine of the story to me (at least as far as the Heroine role and being as close as the story gets to a female lead, while it's mostly about Takemichi and Toman). |
Lol yea... She doesn't do nothing heroic really... I guess if we're using the term lightly as just the main female character... even then I'd say Emily plays just as much of a role as Hinata does. she is just Takemichi's love interest and a bit of a afterthought each episode/chapter. she makes quick appearances... but just a typical small-role side character. I'm caught up on the manga and her role stays the same throughout lol.

I'm just watching the anime and it still feels to me like she's one of Takemichi's main drive since saving her is what basically set his whole journey off, and she's very likeable...but that's just my take.

Heroine in anime usually just refers to the female love interest.
