Nice to see Aggretsuko made the list, though down at number 38.

The poll has a different theme each year. Some of the past years were track-and-field based, general political election, celebrity red carpet, etc. No huge context behind it. I think it's just an excuse to give some of the top performing character cute new illustrations. |

I'm surprised Gudetama and Kerokerokeroppi are comparatively low this go around.
Badtz-Maru is #1 for me this year and every year. |
