Interestingly, Sonny Strait was the original voice for Present Mic in S1 until he had to drop out sometime before or near the start of S2 due to injury/vocal strain (when Dave Trosko took over and has been playing him ever since). Given how S2's first half is a tournament arc with Present Mic commentating for the whole event... that was probably a good call.
I will say when I heard he was cast here, I was a bit skeptical just because I assumed they would cast an actor completely new to MHA (or someone who only did bit parts prior). But thinking about it - if he wasn't the original Present Mic, this casting wouldn't shock me at all which I think says something about how he does fit.
This season's definitely been a bit of a slog (not so much due to animation/production quality so much as overarching decisions for the outline of the season), but hopefully if finds a way to wrap up strong.

I'm hoping to lord Jashin that they're sacrificing the pacing for the Hero Agency arc so that that the following arc gets proper pacing. For two seasons now, it seems like the 24 episode structure isn't doing MHA any favours. I'm excited to see how ReDestro gets characterized in the anime for both subbed and dubbed versions.
