It is nice to see someone try something different once in a while. I wish them good luck in telling an interesting story that hits the themes they want. So far... well, it certainly has the interesting part working.

An enjoyable interview about what is quickly becoming my favorite anime. The insight into the thought process of the production provides a certain catharsis as the themes and ideas from the anime continue to turn over and over in my head. I appreciate that the questions and answers were just as thoughtful as the anime itself.
Now more than ever is the time to grapple with the illogicality of the world’s rules and structures, which seem designed to enrich only a small few, while caging the rest in a deadly competition. Thank you Mr. Natsume and staff for creating a work of art that deeply resonates with my heart. |
