As with the previous Macross debacle, once again anime armchair producers are wrong. I remember people saying that this anime would never happen because of the series close resemblance to a popular franchise. Cool that it does however.

Not surprised this is getting an anime. The manga is really good!

Next, I'm hoping Sakamoto Days is the next Shonen Jump property to get an anime

I cannot begin to describe how excited I am for this anime. Mashle is one of THE manga that I've been enjoying most lately and so seeing this get an anime is going to be one of those big joys that I cannot even begin to describe. I cannot wait to see how they pull this one off and I hope it looks as good as this manga deserves.

So the manga is actually good? I read the first chapter and hated it, barely got through it, what are the chances I would actually like it if I kept going?

bruh. that "debacle" went on for well over two decades. that the entire franchise can finally be released in English should be seen as an exception.
