Huh, I didn't know the artist for this was Chilean. Never heard of this series before this, but now I'm thinking about checking it out.

As a Chilean, that's the most Chilean parent move possible |

Same here, nice to see some diversity in mangaka, I only know the Brazilian mangaka (well, he's technically half-Japanese, half-Brazilian) who created No Game No Life. But it's great to see the manga industry opening up to non-Japanese and hapa out there. Yes, I'm aware of the late Stan "the man" Lee and Heroman, and Felipe Smith. But then again, I want to remind ANN forumite (that applies to our younger reader/fans out there reading my post) that some of our Japanese mangaka have done work for US comics/graphic novels like Katsuhiro Otomo, Kia Asamiya, Tsutomu Nihei, & Yoshitaka Amano have all done artwork and illustration for DC, Marvel, and other US comic/graphic novel publishers. |
