So now that we have the full roster, I'm sure some people are wondering why Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is Season 1 only. Well, during the stream, they explained they started working on Y as soon as they finished 30, it took so long mainly because they decided to change the engine.

A few months before G-Witch even started airing I might add. https://steamdb.info/changelist/13950997/ Taking this into account, it's likely the "time limit" to decide the roster was before Season 2 finished airing. Thus they could only put Season 1 into the game. As for why they didn't wait until the next game to use it at all, we can only speculate, but it's likely a decision some higher-up made after the anime ended up becoming an instant success. There is still a chance Season 2 will show up in an Expansion Pack like the one 30 had. BTW, this is also likely the reason Toru Furuya is still voicing Amuro. Even if Amuro gets new lines in this game, they certainly were recorded before the scandal. If he doesn't, his old lines were probably put in the game before the scandal anyway. |

Now that we have the full base roster, I can say it's really weird to get Delta and its very slightly modified abridged version Passionate Walkure but not Zettai Live
So I'm leaning towards those who are calling the roster a bit underwhelming with only a few surprises and a lot of returnees, and agree with others I've seen talking about this feeling like a game to hold people over until the 35th anniversary |

I'm glad to see Godzilla Singular Point, I enjoyed the show.
Between the mobile games premiering some series, some new stuff just being kind of "expected", how we get less series than 15 years ago, and how we get less games than 15 years ago...I see how it can be tough to really impress people with the cast lists anymore. That's even without considering the longer delay this time - but, anyway, I hope that new engine works out well. |

One of the new shows in the trailer showed that Jet Jaguar from godzilla singular point is in the game. I believe it's the godzilla from that. |

Because I wanted the release of this game to coincide with the release of Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning a week earlier. |

I notice how there's Z Gundam and Gundam CCA, yet no ZZ Gundam. I'm guessing there's also a reason why we only got SEED Destiny too and not its prequel and spin offs.
As underwhelming the roster may be, I'm guessing we'll get some pretty decent writing. |
