The Love We Share somehow reminds me to "Welcome Home" as I think it shares similarities. If this was to be animated, I'd be eager to give it a chance as Boy's Loves stories aren't my cup of tea, personally. Despite this, I watched the "Welcome Home" anime and it was really enjoyable in my opinion as the show was almost pure wholesomeness. The only thing I was not really fond of was the omegaverse setting which made me feel a bit uncomfortable as I did not expect anything like this in this type of story.

Don't get me wrong, I am not hating any BL content. It just not my type of literature I'd be reading. Everyone is free to enjoy whatever he/she/they/them wants and I am totally fine with it. I am not in a position to judge anyone for their preferred tastes in any way.

Same about the omegaverse stuff. Sometimes I see the word in a blurb and instantly disengage lol. I'm sure I'm possibly missing out on some good stuff though by doing that.

Anyway, appreciate your comment on trying it out regardless of it being your preference or not! I myself read BL but am pretty picky and can find it hard to find the ones I like. If you haven't experienced too many and don't mind my unwarranted recs, I'd recommend these:

Canis (superb setting and characterization),
Birds of Shangri-La (more sexual, but a good character study),
I Hear the Sunspot (wholesome, and detailed characterization of a deaf character).

Honorable mentions: Given, and Semantic Error (although that last one is a webtoon, but they have a book format of it that's easier to digest).
