Man the novel started off so good but really took a nosedive in the final few chapters. Started as an interesting and creepy mystery but ended as a weak melodrama. I love melodrama but the writer put very little effort into the backstories to make the reader care what happens to the characters. Hopefully the manga’s visual make up for a weak ending.
