The female lead is drugged and nearly raped and the show plays it off for comedy and is sympathetic to the lesbian rapist with no repercussions. Being sympathetic to child rape by a teacher is an easy way to piss off the ratings boards and the BBC has a point. One of the reasons I disliked the anime in the end. Re:cycle Of The Penguindrum seems to be 15+. |
