While the last straight line wasn't particularly mind-blowing it was just as it should have been in my opinion, I didn't have this usual "something unfinished feeling" like most Jump for a while now, I will really miss reading my new chapter ( please the anime production committee don't stop at the next season make a full adaptation ), easily one of my favorite sport romance all time. I'm both glad and sad that I liked all the heroines equally, of course it always has to be in non harem series Anime cry .

I liked it managed to keep its soft masculinity, something that a lot of fandoms seem to hate

For a little while it seemed like a new plot thread was being set up with Chinatsu's neighbor (?), but maybe Miura thought better of it? Considering the themes of the manga, this seems like a natural place to end things.

I'm happy it's a ending the author chose but I do find it frustrating that the majority of sports stories refuse to explore the college/university experience or the transition of going professional.

I liked how this one wrapped up! Honestly I feel like it's pretty open if Miura ever wanted to revisit it and tackle college as well, since they didn't flash forward to their adult lives like many series will do. But honestly, they should be allowed to rest for a bit, churning out weekly chapters with the level artistry as Blue Box has got to be tiring.

It was a great run and I enjoyed it

I do have my gripes with the series just ending at high school graduation. Give me a timeskip and show me where the characters are in the future.

Hopefully, the author does maybe a special chapter in the future with the timeskip

It was a nice series to follow after all those years. I don't think that in this period I have never ever been afraid of Blue Box been "axed",; that shows how good it was.

Also, I just read in Twitter Kouji Miura saying "and if you are in Shueisha please give me some work, freedom frightens me" Very Happy So maybe we will have some epilogue.
