Unfortunately I only found out about the screening late last night :-/

I figured it was still worth posting, since there would probably still be a fair number of people who read the article before 8am and had Turner Classics at home.

I heard about this from Anime Jump a few weeks ago. Of course I moved to college, where I don't have TCM, on August 30th. Which was lousy timing. I just hope the run it again some time when I'm at home. Although I won't get my hopes up. I imagine they'll run Magic Boy as much as they run Brewster McCloud, which is to say, very rarely.

If TCM's schedule search engine is correct, we won't be seeing this film for at least three months, if that soon.

Lousy Arizona mountain time meant that the movie started at 5 IN THE MORNING.

Oh well, I can wait three months. PROVIDED THEY DON'T SHOW IT AT 5 IN THE FREAKING MORNING AGAIN.

I actually caught Magic Boy on TCM. It was actually pretty good. The dubbing was pretty good. The animation looked good as well. The characters actually looked japanese. It wasn't the best anime I've ever seen, but it was ok for it's time.

Evil or Very Mad well now thats just poo it was on at 7:30amCST and i was really looking foward to watching it Anime cry by the time it was on i was well on my way to school Anime cry (sighs) ohh well maybe next time
