Ok my friend is just getting into anime and he asked me what the diffrince between an OVA and TV. The problem is I don't know alot about the diffrince too.
Now he will not leave me be unless I tell him a very good explantion. So can some one tell me a good way to explain this to a noob like him.

OVA - Anime originally released directly to video/DVD.

This is from the Lexicon.
Basically OAV are releases that go directly to release (DVD/VHS) and TV series generally air on TV first. |
