I could be wrong about this, but on the official R1 copy of Rescue Me Mave-Chan that I just bought, it does not list Gonzo anywhere in the credits for the show. Their name does not appear in the credits on the back of the DVD case, nor in the credits which play at the ending of the show. This title is animated by Studio Fantasia which the Encyclopedia correctly states, however there is essentially no relation to Gonzo, which the Encyclopedia incorrectly has listed.
The name Gonzo does appear in very small white text, on a black screen after the credits have already gone by. However it is placed next to a "(c) 2002" which indicates that this crediting is in regards only to them having some of the rights to Yukikaze, a Gonzo show that has a remote connection to Rescue Me Mave-Chan. Right under that text there is a "(c) 2005" under which Gonzo is not listed, which corresponds to the rights for Mave-Chan. There is an identical small text listing at the bottom of the back of the DVD case as well, which is not the credits of the show but more like a listing of who has the copyrights to what properties. It seems to me that Gonzo has absolutely nothing to do with the production of this title so I don't think it should be listed in the Encyclopedia for this show. Even when I watched the show, I noticed next to no references to Yukikaze. All I saw were plugs for Stratos 4....again and again. I thought Mave-Chan was awful, I wasted my 9 dollars oh well. I had high hopes for this since the few screenshots of this I'd seen looked awesome. I thought that with only 25 minutes total, this would be an ultra high-quality animation. But I was tricked, it was the cheapest thing I'd ever seen, with ultra low-quality drawings and animation. And there is no story, it's just a 25 minute commercial for Stratos 4. |

Fixed. The submitter probably got his info from this news item three years ago, which was just wrong. It was animated by Studio Fantasia, according to the official site.
Next time, an error report would be enough. You don't have to write your personal comments on how good or bad a title is to report an error. |

Eh, dorm, I have a slight impression that reporting this way is a bit faster, given the backlog of error reports But we're working on it ! |

Yes, it is true that posting at this forum is more likely to attract immediate attention. However, I don't want to give an impression that makes people to neglect the functionality of error reports. This applies to "title X is not in the Encyclopedia" as well. |
