Hey,
I was just wondering if any of you had ever had to return an item to Rightstuf and what constitutes as a damaged item. I recently received and order and was disappointed to find some of the discs in the Requiem From the Darkness box set I ordered to have small smudges and some tiny scratches. Is this considered damaged?

Oh, believe me, there's been more than one person that's had to return something to TRSI. There was a 6-page long thread on this very subject about six months ago. But getting back to the issue of what constitutes damage... Right now, I'd say your best bet is to contact Right Stuf directly about that. Here's the page I use when I need to make contact; the other option would be to e-mail them at info AT rightstuf DOT com. Hope that helps.

Just got my replacement Mush-Shi V.5 back a couple days ago. The disc had scratches and smudges on it like you wouldn't believe.

Just email them, and tell them what is wrong with the disc, along with your order number. They will write you back and give you a number, you will write that number on the packing slip that you send back with the product. As soon as they recieve it they will mail you back your replacement. So it took about two weeks total for me. Actually a little less.

Earlier this month I realized that the Haruhi Vol. 2 had the crack in the center. But I was able to wach it just fine. And a week later I bought Vol.3 at my local retailer.
Once obtaining the volume it seems I realy don't want to go out of my way just to return something that could get misplaced in the mail. Unless it's critical, also I'm just lazy.

All you need to do is contact us for an RA and use the return label on the back of your packing list. Contact customer service at [email protected] or call 8003386827.

Thank you everyone!

I thought that would be the way to go about it but thought Rightstuf may be one of those retailers that doesn't like to replace things that aren't totally destroyed (meaning the discs are still playable and the case is intact).

Thanks

Very rarely does this happen but they are pretty good about and friendly. You'll be able to work it out and you'll have another replacement for your order.
