I was wondering if anyone else had to send in one of the defective Ranma DVDs from one of the boxed sets. If so, how long did it take to get it back?

The reason why i'm asking is because i had to send in one of the DVDs from the 5th season boxed set (i can't stand mis-timed subtitles). I sent it in November and recieved an automatic email from Viz notifying me that it was being procesed back on December 11. (I do remember reading that processing can take 6-8 weeks)

Of course i'm starting to get a little impatient Anime smallmouth + sweatdrop. I have sent two emails to Viz regarding this, but i have not heard back yet. So if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Oh, and does anyone know of another way i can contact Viz besides the [email protected] email?? Not that i'm going to spam them or anything, I just want to be able to get a reply next time.

Doesn't their homepage have a phone-number? Call them.

It's usually considered unprofessional of a company not to have a reachable phonenumber on their homepage. And those who don't should be avoided. A maximum three day wait for replies to e-mails is also something that you should expect from a professional company.

Maybe you should point this out to them?

Hmm, well store.viz.com has a phone number at the bottom. I was assuming that number was just for ordering from the store over the phone, but maybe they could still help me with my problem.

Usually when you send something into a company like a defective item switch or rebate, they say to allow 6-8 weeks from the time of processing until you should get it back. So if you got a notice from them that they were processing it back on Dec. 11, you should probably give them until Feb. 11.
