so awhile ago I bought vol. one and two of Kare Kano and watched them, which I enjoyed. When I heard that there was gonna be a boxset of them I decided to wait and buy the boxset and sell the double discs. When I got the boxset I noticed that the images on the dvds were different between the 2 I already had and the new ones I got (i.e. the 2 vol. 1 discs I had both had a differnt image on them). So I was wondering if there was a reason for this or not? I wish now I hadn't already sold my dups to see if there was a difference on them other than the image.

I don't know how many different covers/images there were supposed to be, but I do recall there being a mention (at least for vol 1) that there were multiple ones that were going to come out.
Which makes me wonder... just how many different covers were there?

I do believe that there were 3 different screen tones used for the Kare Kano discs. One pink, one blue and one light grey maybe?
*manic laughter* I found it for you, though it doesn't say what the differences are. Taken from TRSI news archive (edited for space):
"His and Her DVD 2 Rescheduled!
Right Stuf is proud to announce that we have officially rescheduled the release of His and Her Circumstances DVD 2: Love and War under the Cherry Blossoms for 12/3!
In addition, each volume will contain one of 3 completely different His and Her Circumstances DVD silkscreens!"
I am ALMOST completely positive about the three colours though! What do you guys have?
