Is Hobby Link Japan a trustworthy retailer?

I been browsing at their products for some time and I've been tempted to buy something from them but the problem is I wanna know(from people that might have bought stuff from them) and if they're trust worthy sellers, if they have an acessible transaction process since they're based in Japan and is their customer service good. I wanted to get someone's opinion of them before ever placing an order..so anyone?

Their custom service is excellent. I had a broken arm on my Tachikoma (see more HERE) and they replaced it for free. They ship fast and well packed. I really like HLJ.

They're defintely legit. I can't speak for their customer service, really, as I never got a chance to talk to anyone. Each and every time I placed an order/changed an order/wrote a email, I got a message saying "We're out of the office, but we'll get back to you when we return!" After awhile I started to wonder if the CS department ever showed to work ot just went straight from con to con to holiday time off to con...

I never did have a problem with an order though (aside from having to order in yen, which meant I had to guess what I was going to be billed in US dollars as I balanced my checkbook, then adjust later.) They're not bad at all.

I ordered about 5 or 6 times from them and in the last 4 times I let them know when packages arrived to me and they always answered. I always chose Express Mail to Romania and never had any problems with the items ordered.

I've used them once, but would happily use them again if I found a product there that I wanted (I'm not much of a collector of anime figures). My experience with them was quite good, and I have no real complaints about the service.
