I already die of awesome when I see the amount of detail and incredibleness of the manga's drawing, now this is just undescribable, just fantastic!

Man, she is dedicated. Just looking at all that embroidery is making my hand cramp! But good on her, it looks fantastic!

"Okay, I've spent months handcrafting this painstakingly-exact replica of a costume from a manga--now, to find some Mongolian sheep!"

"Where are we going to find Mongolian sheep in Japan?"

"We're not going to look in Japan, we're going to look in Mongolia!"

Now that is some dedication to your craft. If I were Kaoru Mori, I'd praise that cosplayer on bended knee. (Heck, who knows how over-the-moon Mori must feel!)

I applaud Matsuri for her out standing dedication to her cosplay craft! She definitely deserves the highest of praise for going the extra miles to complete her cosplay in a truly unique way. If I were Kaoru Mori I'd be bawling tears of gratitude for helping to bring my character to life in such a realistic way. This is perfection right here! Very Happy

That's an incredible level of dedication she put into making this cosplay shoot happen... Surprised Ms. Mori-san has really outdone herself with this cosplay so highly-detailed.

That is great work and it looks very good on her. It would be nice to see her in person here in the USA. This is a good reminder that volume eight is scheduled to be released later this year and is available for pre-order now at one web site (that I know of).

BEAUTIFUL! I bet that's every embroiderer's wet dream, to be that skilled and see their work come to life like that.

She must be practiced at riding a horse to pose while on horseback. She looks effortlessly flawless.~

That's what you call the "Ultimate Cosplayer"! If this manga ever gets anime, I 'd be sure to check it.

Wow that is some serious dedication. Beautiful. As dedicated reader to the series, I often wonder what area Amir and her clan were from. I mean this is all the Silken road where many cultures reside. Again many of those areas have since changed over the past 100 of years. I was trying to track down where Kaoru Mori was able to get some of references from. Of course she knows where to go. But it's not easy tracking down the attire on the internet unless you know what you're looking for. I've only came across a few sites that has clothing close to that. But not the actual sources that Kaoru Mori has been able to acquire as she's probably using going to museums, libraries, etc...

And of course we're always looking forward to more 'A Bride's Story'. Surprised

Anybody else wondering how much she spent on her trips? The pictures are gorgeous, though. Wonder if she'll get to meet with Kaoru Mori personally (if I were Mori, I'd want to meet her!)
