It's hard to imagine how that misunderstand could take place given the dialogue. So instead of a silly sitcom premise we have...characters suddenly switching motivations. I thought this was about cheese. |

I don't think it's tough to understand, but I'm the one writing it, so of course it seems that way to me. Maybell takes a big chance and asks Luna out point blank. She accepts, a little shocked by Maybell's direct approach and emboldened by Vice's taunting. They have a date next week (2 weeks in strip time - next week is a one-off). I'd rather you didn't. I understand this is delicate subject matter and you want to assure everyone you're going to handle it properly (and considering the creative team I have no doubt you will) but have a little more faith in yourself and your readers. We'll be able to accept what you throw down, no need to spell it out for us. |
