Alright, this excerpt has successfully convinced me to check out both DT Eightron and Angel Tales. Hell, I may even go right ahead and buy the book, this excerpt proved so investing.

Interesting excerpt, and the translation is very readable. Good job! I just bought the book from iBooks for all my Apple devices.
(C'mon, people, it's only $7. You can afford $7.) |

It's perfect timing for me. I'm getting tired of seeing translated prose being dominated in fiction only (light novels). Now it would be nice if someone translates "Another Barusu: Untold story of Castle in the Sky production" by Hirokatsu Kihara. |

And pretty much just isekai light novels at that. I want J-Novel Club to succeed, and subscribed to them for a year before I realized they just weren't putting out anything I wanted to read, and lots of titles I kind of just shake my head at (to be fair, JNC are not the only offenders in this department). This is the first J-Novel Club release that's prompted a "oh hell yes" reaction from me, and I hope we see more like it. |
