Kimetsu no Yaiba, popularity of Inazuma region in Genshin Impact, Wano arc in One Piece, return of Bleach, Glass' world in Shield Hero, Boruto still being around, Japanese Servants introduced in Nasuverse in last few years...

New Rurouni Kenshin anime.

And now this...

...

I'm starting to believe that Japanese history, and mythology are both making a huge comeback, possibly even to replace isekai.
