Hopefully this will spark a re-interest in the Anime and we can get it (And possible Akane Maniax) back on a streaming platform.

Might be a regional thing but in the US at least, the 2003 Kiminozo anime is available under its localized title of “Rumbling Hearts” on Crunchyroll and Funimation. The OAV sequel “~next season~” and OAV spinoff “Akane Maniax” have never been available streaming.
