I’ve played both demos and despite some quirks. It pretty much feels like a typical Nioh game. I too have a slightly minor issue with the open world design but that’s more due to the fact the game pretty much copied Rise Of Ronin in that respect.

Probably will wait to get this on sale. Between having no drift free controllers (which almost killed me a few times playing the 2nd demo). And finishing up some games in my backlog some of which I’ve just cracked open months after buying them. I’m in no rush.

Even more so when I haven’t finished Nioh 2’s DLC which the demo of 3 and the full game of course references Razz

Am I the only one who preferred the first game without the character creator and you got to play as an actual set character and historical figure William Adams and it set itself apart compared to the more standard Soulsborn game Nioh 2 was. It sounds like Nioh 3 is more of the same.

In a vacuum Nioh was a fine game but with the newer/refined mechanics, new weapons, stiffer challenge 2 was a better game. Having the ability to make a new character who could be male or female was an added bonus.
