I'm definitely going to check out Le Chavalier, although I'm going to give it a rent first. It certainly does sound very interesting, but I always like to get a little taste before making my final decision.

Damn those shelves are impressive, mine are meager by comparison O_O

Le Chevalier seems to be a good pick according to what I've heard. I might get it

Definitely not worth the price. Gunbuster is one of my favorite OVA series, but the artificially high Japanese prices keeps my from purchasing it. A realistic price, given age and lack of an english dub should place a boxset for either series at $30 MSRP, for the DVDs. I guess $50-60 for BD, but again, I'm not overpaying for anime, no matter how much I like it.

I have heard nothing but good things about Le Chevailer, and it looks and sounds amazing. I'll probably buy the boxset sometime after Christmas.

I bought the Gunbuster bluray set for $60 brand new at best buy. i think it is worth it. I also thought that Gunbuster looked amazing on blu ray, way better than what i had remembered. I say if you like the movies an you have a job then go get it. $60 aint that much money guys.

My roommate and I were stuck on the outer ring of that death wheel for days, as well. Finally got past it (the rest isn't too bad), but I don't think we've played the level since we beat it Smile

Bamboo,

There's a way to pass the wheel with a little luck and almost no need for insane timing skillz.

Key steps: Run on the roofs (none of them are electrified). Once you get to the second to last layer, wait until the gap with the checkpoint is at about 10 o'clock, then jump out and run at 12 o'clock on the outermost roof until you see the exit. There's a big black arrow -- position your sack character under the arrow, a little bit to the left. When the wheel finishes rotating, you will fall down and (here's the luck part) land somewhere safe, with only a jump or two between you and the final conveyor belt (which isn't hard). This strategy is highly repeatable (some experimentation with final positioning will be necessary though).

I figured out the strategy after realizing that a couple of the obstacles in the level leading up to it encourage roof-running or otherwise eschewing tricky jumps by taking advantage of gravity.

Apparently you live at home with mommy and have no expenses. The movies are the same exact thing as the series except condensed, which is goddamned pointless.

I'm surprised to see the 'GB/DB' movie on the top list.

Yeah, good review on 'Le Chevalier d'Eon'. Gawd, I've been wanting trying to finish the show but haven't been successful. There so much anime out there to distract you from finishing a series. But from what I saw I really enjoyed it and really want to finish. This is definitely on my early 2009 list.

Hey, who says that anime can't teach you anything. Razz
