This is actually the case of a lot of books in Japan, even some of the classics by Natsume Souseki or Tanizaki Junichiro were first published in a magazine or newspaper. |

Somehow in this column, covering a Japanese light novel about an organization that desperately needs to send astronaut in space, Honneamise no Tsubasa is never mentioned. Strange =)

Every time someone brings up the future shown in early science fiction books, they mention flying cars. Personally, I don't want them. Think how well the avarage person drives a car, and the national death rate from automobiles. Now try to imagine the same people flying, trying to handle 3 demensions instead of 2. And no roads, they could fly right over your house.
While your eating dinner, a guy in a jet pack hits an idiot in a flying car and falls into the living room. It could put a real damper on the meal. |
