DAYS Soccer Anime Confirmed for 24 Episodes

The official website for the television anime of Tsuyoshi Yasuda's soccer manga DAYS announced details on the anime's Blu-ray Disc and DVD release on Wednesday. The first six three-episode volumes will ship from October 19, 2016 to March 15, 2017. The remaining three two-episode volumes will ship from April 18 to June 14, 2017 for a total of 24 episodes. The television series will run for two cours or half a year.
The French streaming service Anime Digital Network announced in June that it will be streaming the anime with 24 25-minute episodes.
The story centers on two boys who were never meant to meet: Tsukushi Tsukamoto, who has no special skills but secretly hides a passionate heart, and Jin Kazama, an isolated soccer genius. On a stormy night, the two meet, and that meeting creates a whirlwind in the world of high school soccer.
The anime premiered on July 3, and Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs. Ponycan USA plans to release the series in the U.S.
