Crunchyroll's Simulcast of Dr. Stone Anime Debuts on July 5

Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that its simulcast of the television anime adaptation of Riichirou Inagaki and Boichi's Dr. Stone manga will debut on July 5.

Crunchyroll will screen the first episode at Anime Expo on July 4 at 12:00 p.m. Funimation will stream a simuldub of the anime.

The anime will debut in Japan on Tokyo MX on July 5 at 10:00 p.m. before airing later that evening on KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11. The anime will also air on TV Hokkaido, Tohoku Broadcasting, TV Aichi, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. In addition, the anime will stream on 21 streaming services in Japan, and it will stream first on d Anime Store. The first 12 minutes of the anime's first episode will stream on YouTube on July 1 at 7:00 p.m. JST.

Shinya Iino (storyboards, episode director on Hanebad!, Revue Starlight, Made in Abyss) is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment. Yuichiro Kido (episode scripts for Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, After the Rain, 91 Days) is in charge of series composition and is writing the scripts. Yuko Iwasa (Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Yowamushi Pedal) is designing the characters. Tatsuya Katō (WorldEnd, Revue Starlight), Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Children of the Whales, Anima Yell!), and Yuki Kanesaka (Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond insert songs) are composing the music.
