Trivia:
In episode 09, at the beginning, there is a reference to an boxing anime called Ippo. This is Hajime no Ippo. Nagatoro's boxing style resembles the one from Ryō Mashiba.
In episode 10, around 08:50, Yoshi mentions fusion when Nagatoro and Senpai are stretching in a pose that looks a lot like the fusion pose from Dragonball Z. The halfway screenshots also reference to this.
