Hatsune Miku Sofas, Guitars Offered in Store Campaign

The FamilyMart chain of convenience stores is launching its "Miku Loves Famima Campaign 2nd" promotional campaign with Vocaloid virtual idol Hatsune Miku next Tuesday. During the campaign, customers who buy 500 yen (about US$5) or more of selected items will get a chance to win prizes, such as 10 Microsoft Surface tablets, 10 Hatsune Miku v3 software packages, 30 sets of six Miku Family cushions, and the top prizes: 3 Miku Family sofas. Petit Devil drew the art on the sofa, and Otomania and Yukino Tamago collaborated on the design.

Plus, people who use the Famima T-Card or Tsutaya's T-Card to spend at least 2,000 yen (about US$20) will get a chance to win one of five Hatsune Miku original electric guitars illustrated by Dogs: Bullets & Carnage artist Shirow Miwa. 1,000 other winners will receive 390 T Points each.



The Famitsu stores, which number about 9,800 throughout Japan, will offer 13 different Hatsune Miku collaboration items, including:
