My Melody Also Gets Q Transformers Toy

Tamashii Nations is already transforming Sanrio's My Melody with a Chōgōkin Action Figure for the character's and the toy line's 40th anniversary. Now, Takara Tomy is crossing the rabbit mascot over with its own popular Transformers toy line.
The toy was released on January 18, the same day as My Melody's birthday. She transforms into a pink truck similar to Optimus Prime. The My Melody toy costs 1,200 yen (US$10) and is available at Japanese TOYS R US stores.

Takara Tomy released a similar toy last July of Hello Kitty, followed by ones for Evangelion, Kami-Usagi Rope, and Snoopy.
