Sakura Wars Joins Puyo Puyo Quest for Limited Time

The Sakura Wars franchise has its own little anniversary, including an exhibit looking back on 20 years of steampunk video game and anime battles. Since then, the franchise continues to get occasional merchandise and most recently, tie-in booster packs for the card game Crusade.
The next game tie-in is with Sega's Puyo Puyo Quest mobile game starting on July 24. The characters Sakura and Erika are confirmed to appear and the game's heroines Arle and Floree are getting Sakura Wars costume makeovers.
Puyo Puyo Quest is a fantasy-themed RPG puzzle game for both iOS and Android that launched in 2013. The game previously collaborated with Love Live!'s Rin as part the character's role as Sega's image girl. Love Live! Sunshine!!'s Hanamaru has since taken over the position.
