Hanasaku Iroha Film Tops 100 Million Yen

The official Twitter account for the anime film Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home announced on Monday that the film's box-office earnings have exceeded 100 million yen (about US$1 million) as of the past weekend. In appreciation for the film's success, theaters will give moviegoers two Bonbori Festival clear files (pictured right) with exclusive illustrations by character designer Kanami Sekiguchi beginning on April 20.
The film with a brand-new story screened in four theaters in Ishikawa Prefecture on March 9 before opening nationwide on March 30.
