Kitacon 2014 Registration Open (Updated)

Registration is now open for 2014's Kitacon Invasion convention here (registration on the top right of the page). The event runs from March 28 to 30 at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole NEC, with two types of registration; standard registration at £48 and VIP Registration at £85. The latter package includes priority seating for larger items and various exclusive items such a conbag and lanyard, a special convention T-shirt and a VIP USB stick with a digital conbook. (There are only 100 VIP badges available.)
The Hilton Metropole NEC has standard rooms at £73 and double / twin rooms at £85 a night, including VAT and a daily breakfast.
Announced guests include game voice actors Ellen McLain (Portal, an AI voice in the film Pacific Rim), along with her husband John Patrick Lowrie (the Valve games).

Update - The UK Anime News website reports that all double/twin rooms are currently sold out, although the convention committee is trying to secure more of them.
