Sakura Tange, kz, Nitro+ Create Substance-Concept Virtual Idol Project

Concert to be held at Tokyo Game Show on September 19

Nitroplus announced on Friday that it is launching the "Substance-Concept" virtual idol project with voice actress Sakura Tange (Card Captor Sakura's Sakura, Girl Friend BETA's Chloe Lemaire) singing the songs and Vocaloid producer kz (from Livetune) composing the songs. Nitroplus is producing the project, which has a concept of "an electronic songstress who was just born from the world of computers."

Nitroplus is currently streaming a promotional video for the project's first song "Assemble."

Tange and kz will host a live concert on DMM's stage at Tokyo Game Show on September 19. The latest issue of Animate's free anime news magazine CharaPii also features interviews with Tange, kz, and the project's producer "Dejitarō." Animate stores across Japan started distributing the issue on Saturday.
