Manga about student in military academy launched in March 2014

The December issue of Kodansha's Aria magazine revealed on Wednesday that manga creator duo naked ape's Chi to Chocolate manga will "finally have its climax" in the magazine's next issue, which Kodansha will publish on November 28. The next chapter will also feature an increased page count. The magazine had teased in the November issue that the December issue would feature the manga's "shocking climax." (Note: In Japanese, the word "climax" written out in the katakana phonetic alphabet often refers to the final chapter of a manga.)

The story centers on Yozora Fujimitsu, a newly admitted student to North Gate National Military Academy, a school where the elite gather. Yozora possesses both beauty and intelligence, but he immediately feels uneasy at his new school. He thinks, "At this school, there's some kind of big secret." A vortex of speculations occupies Yozora as he's led toward that secret.

naked ape launched the manga in the Aria magazine in March 2014. Kodansha published the manga's second compiled book volume on May 13. A special edition of the second volume included a drama CD.

Otoh Saki and Tomomi Nakamura make up the naked ape creator duo. Viz Media published the 13 volumes of their Switch manga's original 2002-2008 run. The detective series resumed in 2013 and ended in March 2014. Switch inspired a two-episode video anime series in 2008 and 2009.
