Usuzumizakura -Garo- Anime Film Reveals Cast, Character Designs, October Premiere

The official website for the Usuzumizakura -Garo- (Gray Cherry Blossoms: Garo) anime film project revealed the film's main cast, more staff, and October premiere on Saturday.
The film will star:
Masei Nakayama as Raikou
Romi Park as Seimei
Akiko Yajima as Kintoki
Kenyuu Horiuchi as Fujiwarano Michinaga
Daisuke Namikawa as Fujiwarano Yasusuke
Katsuhito Nomura as Minamotono Yorinobu
Mayu Udono as Inari
Additionally, Jouji Nakata will play Tenko and Tomokazu Seki will play Takeru.
Satoshi Nishimura (Ushio & Tora, Hajime no Ippo, Trigun) is directing at Studio M2 and Studio VOLN, and Yasuko Kobayashi (Attack on Titan, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) is writing the script. Masakazu Katsura (Tiger & Bunny, Zetman) is returning from Garo: Crimson Moon to design the characters.

The official website of the Garo franchise revealed in November that the Garo: Crimson Moon television anime series is getting an anime film project.
The Garo the Animation and Garo: Crimson Moon television anime aired in 2014 and 2015, respectively, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed both series. Funimation has also released both series on home video. Garo: Divine Flame, a film sequel to Garo the Animation, opened in Japan in May 2016. The latest anime entry in the Garo franchise, Garo -Vanishing Line-, premiered on October 6, and Crunchyroll streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired. Funimation streamed the series with an English dub.
