Release the Spyce Anime Reveals 2 New Visuals

A Release the Spyce stage presentation at the KyoMAF event on Sunday revealed two new key visuals for the anime. The first visual features characters Mei Yachiyo (voiced by Aya Suzaki) and Fū Sagami (Akane Fujita).

The second visual features characters Hatsume Aoba (Aya Uchida) and Goe Ishikawa (Yuri Noguchi)

A previous visual featured Momo Minamoto (Yukari Anzai) and Yuki Hanzōmon (Manami Numakura).

The anime will premiere on MBS on October 6 at 26:38 (effectively October 7 at 2:38 a.m.). The series will then debut on Tokyo MX on October 7 at 11:30 p.m. and on BS11 at 25:00 (effectively October 8 at 1:00 a.m.).

The anime's story begins with a lone high school girl named Momo, attending a high school in the city of Sorasaki. Unbeknownst to everyone, Momo is an agent who works for the private intelligence agency Tsukikage, that protects the city and its people. Under the tutelage of her senior Yuki, and her other friends, they keep the peace in the city.

The project is a collaboration between Yuruyuri manga creator Namori as original character designer and Yuki Yuna Is a Hero creator Takahiro for the original concept and series composition. The anime marks Akira Sato's directorial debut at Lay-duce. Satoshi Ishino is adapting Namori's characters for animation. SORASAKI.F is credited for the original work.

Yukari Anzai, Manami Numakura, Aya Suzaki, Akane Fujita, Aya Uchida, and Yuri Noguchi will perform the opening theme song "Supatto! Spy & Spice" and the ending theme song "Hide & Seek" as their respective characters, under the group name Tsukikage.
