Watashi Kobayashi Drops New Single “Ningyou no Machi,” Ending Theme for The Case Book of Arne — Along with Music Video

Rising Japanese singer-songwriter Watashi Kobayashi, has released his latest single “Ningyou no Machi” (The Doll's Town).
The song serves as the ending theme for the currently airing TV anime The Case Book of Arne (official website: https://arne.asmik-ace.co.jp/). The official music video is also available.
Watashi Kobayashi is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter with a rapidly growing fanbase, boasting over 340,000 followers across social media platforms. In addition to his music career, he is also active as a streamer and writer, demonstrating his versatility across multiple creative fields.
“Ningyou no Machi” was written specifically as the ending theme for The Case Book of Arne. Watashi Kobayashi personally played the original game on which the anime
is based and composed both the lyrics and music to closely reflect the world and story of the work. The arrangement was handled by Takeaki Wada.
The music video, released simultaneously with the single, was produced by Kuso Ryoriten Kani and marks a rare animated work for Watashi Kobayashi. In addition, Asmik Ace's official YouTube channel has also released a non-credit ending video for the anime, allowing viewers to enjoy “Ningyou no Machi” alongside the anime footage.

Watashi Kobayashi Born January 18, 1999 in Tokyo, singer/songwriter. He began his music career in earnest when he was a student at Tama Art University, and gained attention for his video clips of himself playing in his room. Combined with his unique chats on YouTube, he has gained popularity, and currently has over 160,000 subscribers to his channel. In June 2024, his forth album "Chuuten wo Nozomu", from King Record's Heroic Line. His discography includes some anime tie-in songs, “Rinkaku” and "Sora ni Shimeyuu", the theme songs for the anime “Ragna Crimson”. In addition to music, he is expanding his activities by utilizing his diverse talents such as writing and drawing.
